OOOH how I am thankful for my Hubby! I went to bed a little prematurely last night and I woke up this morning to find the kitchen sink pipes had been unclogged and reassembled, the dishes were cleaned and put away and dinner was thoughtfully covered and placed in the refrigerator. What a man!! And what a great morning surprise.

This might seem kinda silly but I am really grateful for a fridge full of food. I'm thankful that Ben and I can eat three meals a day and that each night we can sit together as a family at the dining room table and share a meal together, talk about our day and share our joys and concerns.

I think of all the things i ask of the Lord daily and I am thankful for the patience that he has for me. And i am grateful for those opportunities to serve others and realize that that is indeed a way that the Lord answers our prayers, through others, who are willing and motivated to act on the promptings of the spirit.

I am grateful for the promptings of the spirit and even more so when I follow those promptings. I felt prompted to call a sister in our ward today that I don’t even know. After speaking with her I wasn’t sure who was blessed more for the call, me or her. I felt calm and joyful for relying on the lord instead of being submerged with my own fears and insecurities of calling. I know that we are truly blessed as we follow the promptings of the spirit.
